These are some notes from the online skillshare session with Geane Bonfim that took place on Sat 22 Jul 2023. Please make allowances for potential errors. Thank you. We arrived feeling curious, wanting to hear more about what works to convey this biocentric way, about things that are not helpful and should be avoided, and about what to think regarding biocentric marketing in the future. Our needs as facilitators included contacting more local people to gift a biodanza taster and being more clear when we talk about biodanza. Facilitators from the UK also wanted to understand the UK psyche; UK people seem to be very cautious and do not act on their wants, so one of the questions was, how can we overcome this issue?
Geane reminded us that people are not necessarily interested in biodanza itself, but rather what biodanza can bring into their lives, especially in terms of meeting specific needs, solving problems, and helping to overcome personal difficulties. We then revisited the idea that your deepest wound is your true niche, remembered our first biodanza class, what was happening in our lives at the time, what made us go back, and what made us decide to train as a facilitator - because the difficulties we overcame through biodanza are likely to be the difficulties we are now able to help others overcome. Geane gave us a 22-page workbook which we used to reflect on some of these points. Here's a little of what we shared (names removed for confidentiality). Perceived needs

I am at the stage where I want to create more relevant content and expand my biodanza offering, so this blog has been extremely useful. I am sorry for myself that I missed out on this presentation. Thank you so much for the comprehensive summary.
