You are warmly invited to attend this skillshare session, which focuses on social action as the highest level of development in the line of affectivity. Come along and hear Paola share her experience of socially-engaged biodanza in England. Meet PaolaBefore discovering biodanza, Paola worked as a socially-engaged musician, with all sorts of people and in all sorts of places, using music as a tool for personal healing and community development. What she did with music, she then started to do with biodanza, taking "the dance of life" to a wide variety of groups wherever they are. Over the years she has accumulated a wealth of experience bringing joy to children & families, older people, people with disabilities, adults living with cancer, Parkinson's disease, ME/CFS, mental health problems, alcohol-related brain damage, recovering from addiction, homeless women with complex needs, older people with dementia, female asylum seekers and refugee women. In addition, Paola has also introduced biodanza to community care staff, community artists, community psychologists, researchers and "arts in health" professionals. In this session Paola will give a short introduction to biodanza and social action before moving on to sharing her experience in this field. Time allowing, the session will end with Q&A and group discussion. Bring a cuppa and whatever else you need to feel relaxed. Let's inspire each other to share the love!
